What Is The Finite # of Documents Withheld - a simple question the NARA finds hard to answer.
There are many issues concerning President Biden's Friday night June 30, 2023 Midnight declaration on the NARA's completion of their review of documents in the JFK Collection.
If that is indeed the case then they know exactly how many records remain withheld, in full and in part, a finite number that should be made public.
The NARA hasn't answered my question yet, but the Mew York Times says it is 4,864. Npw that's pretty exact, but I know that's not the end of it.
Though as with their contention that 99% have been released to the public, and only 1% remain sealed, they don't mention that 1% of the 4 million records they brag about having released, is a very sizeable number.
My digital calculator says that is 40,000 documents, each of which could be a hundred pages long.
The NARA must reveal this finite statistic, along with the RIF # that will also tell us the agency/department of origin, as well as the reason for continued postponement of release.
If they can't supply that number there is something seriously wrong, as seems to be the case.
And this number will only include the records related to the assassination that have been included in the JFK Collection at the Archives, and not those that are still in private hands, and not the records that have been admittedly destroyed or are simply missing.
But this is a good place to start a dialog with the NARA, as they have many outstanding questions to answer, and I suspect will be dodging, and not forthcoming with the truth, the sad truth that should make you mad.

As much as I would like to get excited about the remaining documents suddenly being liberated, I assume that the decades they have had to "sanitize" what's there will prevent anything from ever being released that would do the conspirators much harm. Items in private hands, such as what Chauncey Holt revealed, may be our only hope.
